If you are new to this site, let me say that the purpose is to share some of the places that Molly, my loyal black lab, and I have visited. Sadly she is no longer with me.
Listed are a variety of locales we visited, with interesting people and adventures. I hope you enjoy this 'novel tour'.
Be sure to come back again to see the latest news and stories of the people and places we visit.
Connect to My Stories page shows the current project that I am working on, plus some ideas for future stories.
Thanks for visiting,
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me, I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.

I moved from the motor home early in January of 2014.
The image above shows the growth of the plants we started.
The left is after planting, the right was taken mid November.
This was our new home at the Fairview Manor senior's Park. Now I'm back in the motor home.
What's happened in 2015
I am again free and single. Lately I have been working as a handyman, my own business, while also striving to be a popular contemporary novelist.
Other than striving to be novelists, I have the desire to cook, travel, enjoy the desert environment and relaxation.
Connect to My Stories see what stories I am working on and some ideas for future ones.
For most of the year I was involved with a wonderful woman. We shared time together and she was very helpful with my writing. Unfortunately at years end we separated.
Began with a new purpose and activity for me. I had begun writing short stories and a couple of outlines for possible novels. The novels I read gave me inspiration to write new stories.
The last few years Molly and I have volunteered at five different campgrounds with forest service, BLM, Corps of engineers, and conservancy facilities. This has been a bunch of fun as well as learning experiences.
This was a relaxing, rejuvenating, and contributing year.
The year began in a mediocre RV/Mobile home park. I continued to play with and improve upon the Model T hot rod that I purchased in 2010 when I was in Reno. I sold the rod in march to a couple from Minnesota. A red Chevy HHR replaced it, and is my daily driver.
I also continued the volunteer work that I began in 2011 at the Southwest Arizona VA Medical Care (hospital) facility in Tucson. I am at the hospital from noon to 4 pm wednesday thru friday. I work with a great bunch of people offering escort service at 1 of 4 places throughout the hospital. Our operation handles at least 90% of the calls for our assistance. We are called upon to transport or escort patients or visitors to and from various service areas. The patients are normally transported by wheelchair and others are on wheeled gurneys. The hospital campus is spread out over 40 acres. On average one of our escorts may walk over 5 miles during their daily service here. Not counting on the infrequent assistance offered by a few high school students, the ages of the volunteers is between 60 and 85. We have to be careful not to assign one of the little old ladies out to push a 300 lb patient.
Molly and I didn't spend a lot of time outdoors during to above 100 degree days of summer. We have spent late fall and winter enjoying our patio when the temps allowed. Molly sniffs the area and I read. The last couple of weeks of 2011 has had too many cold days and nights. I now consider it cold when the temp is below 62.
